Celebrate the festival of colours in the historic city of Hampi in South India. During this two day festival in March, people dance on the streets to upbeat music, eat lots of delicious food, play with gulaal (coloured powder) and enjoy bonfires at night. It’s a great festival for kids as they can enjoy to their heart’s content.

It’s a lovely festival usually held from March to early April when the Ueno Park is full of cherry blossoms to enjoy with your kids. Take a leisure walk beneath the cherry blossom canopies of more than 800 trees while enjoying the glimmer of a thousand lanterns that lit up the garden at sunset. Moreover, there are mind-blowing open air musicals and yummy Japanese food that the kids are absolutely going to love. Children can also ride on the swan boat in Shinobazu Pond.
