The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is in Escondido, California. It is one of the leading safari-style wildlife parks in the world and is spread over 1,800 acres. In 1972, it was opened as the San Diego Wild Animal Park and later in 2010, it was renamed as San Diego Zoo Safari Park. It houses over 3,500 animals and 400 species. Has exotic and endangered species such as rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, and African elephants. Park provides guided safari tours such as African Safari, Safari Truck Tours, and Cheetah Safari. So, visitors can see the animals very close from an open-air vehicle. In addition, exhibits the African Plains, Tiger Trail, Savanna Safari, and Lorikeet Landing. Rare animal species like the California condor, jaguar, and greater one-horned rhino are also sheltered in this park.
