Playa de Diego Hernandez is a real gem, tranquil, undeveloped and just beautiful, located between the fishing villages of La Caleta and EI Puertito de Adeje on the south-west coast of Tenerife. Roughly 200 m long and 25m wide at most, that wild beach is made up of soft golden volcanic sand, and separates mid-beach by a rugged outcrop. It is beloved by pet owners, and beach-goers intent on escaping its pleasures and peacefulness. The laid-back hippie vibe is evident by the tents and the rustic shelters above the cliffs.
It is a tolerant (unofficial) where people do sunbathe how they like.

Nope! It’s a totally natural, undeveloped beach—so bring water, snacks, and anything else you’ll need for your visit.
